The LM185-2.5/LM285-2.5/LM385-2.5 are micro 2-terminal bandgap voltage regulator diodes. Operating in the current range of 20μA to 20mA, they feature very low dynamic impedance and good temperature stability. On-chip fine-tuning is used to provide strict voltage tolerances. Because the LM-185 - 2.5 bandgap reference uses only transistors and resistors, it is low in noise and offers good long-term stability.

The LM185-2.5 is carefully designed to be especially tolerant of capacitive loads, making it easy to use for almost any reference application. Wide dynamic working range and wide range allow for the use of high-quality adjustment devices.

The LM185 - 2.5 - Its extremely low power consumption makes it a useful microcircuit. This reference voltage can be used to manufacture portable meters, regulators, or general analog circuits that approach battery lifespan close to their shelf life. The LM185-2.5 is rated to operate in a temperature range of -55°C to 125°C, while the LM285-2.5 is rated at -40°C to 85°C, and the LM385-2.50°C to 70°C. The LM185-2.5/LM285-2.5 are available in a sealed TO-46 package, and LM285-2.5/LM385-2.5 are also available in low-cost TO-92 molded packaging, as well as SO and SOT-23. The LM185-2.5 can also be packaged in a sealed, leadless chip carrier package.
