The LM4030 is an ultra-high precision parallel voltage reference with extremely high initial accuracy (0.05%) and temperature stability (10PPM/°C). The LM4030 is available with fixed voltages of 2.5V and 4.096V. Despite the miniature SOT23 package, the LM4030 has excellent thermal hysteresis (75ppm) and long-term stability (40PPM), as well as resistance to plate stress.
While the LM4030 is designed to operate, no external capacitor is required, but capacitance up to 10μF can be used. The LM4030 can power down up to 120μA (max) with a small capability but shunt up to 30mA continuous capability. As with any shunt reference, the LM4030 can shut down almost all supplies and is an easy way to produce a highly accurate system reference.
The LM4030 is available in three grades (A, B and C). THE BEST (A) HAS AN INITIAL ACCURACY GRADE OF 0.05% WITH A GUARANTEED TEMPERATURE COEFFICIENT OF 10 PPM / °C below °c, while the lowest (c) grade has an initial accuracy of 0.15% AND A TEMPERATURE COEFFICIENT OF 30 PPM/°C.
