The LMV1012 is a small family of electret microphone audio amplifiers. The 2-wire combination design replaces the JFET amplifiers currently in use. The LMV1012 series is ideal for applications where RF noise is required, or in mobile communications, where high signal integrity is present. The amplifier is guaranteed to operate LMV1012 7.8 dB, 15.6 dB, 20.9 dB, and 23.8 dB fixed gain over a 2.2V to 5.0V supply voltage range. These devices offer excellent THD, gain accuracy, and temperature stability compared to JFET microphones.

The LMV1012 series implements a two-pin electret microphone solution that provides direct pin-to-pin compatibility with the existing JFET market.

These devices are available in an extremely thin 4-bump micro SMD package that saves space. The LMV1012XP is designed for 1.0 mm canisters and thicker ECMs. These extremely miniature packages are designed for condenser microphones (ECMs) in the form factor.
