illustrate
The LP2954 is a 5V micropower voltage regulator with extremely low quiescent current (typical value of 90μA at 1 mA load) and very low dropout voltage (typically 60 mV under light load, with load currents of 250 mA and 470 mV).
Quescent current only slightly increases (120μA (typical value)) during the dropout, thereby extending battery life.
The LP2954 is a fixed 5V output package with three pins TO-220 and TO-263. The adjustable LP2954 offers a compact 8-lead surface-mount package. The adjustable version also provides a resistor network that can be pin-bound to a 5V output setting.
Reverse battery protection.
Tight wiring and load regulation (typical value 0.04%), along with an extremely low output temperature coefficient, make the LP2954 suitable for low-power voltage benchmarks.
Output accuracy ensures temperature control in two rooms and across the entire operating temperature range.
