illustrate
The LP2982 is a 50 mA, fixed output voltage regulator that provides a low noise design for ultra-low dropout and battery-powered applications.
Using an optimized VIP (vertically integrated PNP) process, the LP2982 delivers unmatched performance in a variety of specifications critical to battery-powered designs:
Dropout voltage: typically 120 mV @ 50 mA load, and 7 mV @ 1 mA load.
Ground pin current: typically 375 μ A@ 50 mA load, and 80 μ A@ 1 mA load.
Sleep Mode: The pin is pulled low when quiescent current is on/off below 1μA.
Precision output: Output voltage (Class A) with a tolerance of 1.0%.
Low Noise: Output noise can be reduced to 30μV (typical) by adding an external bypass capacitor.
Four output voltage versions, from 3.0V to 5.0V, are available as standard.
