illustrate
The LP3872/LP3875 series of fast ultra-low dropout linear regulators operate from a +2.5 V to +7.0 V input supply. A wide range of preset output voltages are available. These ultra-low dropout linear regulators respond very quickly to intervene in the load, which makes them suitable for changes in low voltage microprocessor applications. The LP3872/LP3875 were developed on a CMOS process with low quiescent current, allowing operation independent of output load current. This also allows the CMOS process to operate the LP3872/LP3875 at extremely low dropout conditions.
Differential pressure:Ultra-low pressure difference; Typically 150mA load current and 380mV 38mV at 1.5A load current.
Ground pin current:Typically 6mA at 1.5A load current.
Shutdown mode:Typically, the shutdown pin is pulled low at 10nA of quiescent current.
Error #flag:When the error # flag goes low, the output voltage drops below 10% of the nominal value.
SENSE:The needle sensor improves at remote load regulation.
High accuracy output voltage:A variety of output voltages are available ranging from ± 1.5% accuracy guaranteed at room temperature from 1.8V to 5.0V and ± 3.0% in all conditions (different lines, loads and temperatures).
