The improved UC1526A series of high-performance pulse-width modulators is designed to directly replace equivalent non-x93A\x94 versions in all applications. Higher operating frequencies have been improved to include some significant improvements: a more accurate oscillator with less time to die, a drastically reduced delay in the circuit (especially at the current limit), and a negligible transconductance that increases the current in the output stage. Other improvements include the incorporation of a high-accuracy, bandgap reference voltage generator, reduced overall supply current, and increased thermal shutdown protection.
With these improvements, the UC1526A series retains undervoltage lockout, soft-start protection, digital current limiting, dual-pulse rejection logic, and dead-time adjustable.
