illustrate
The LM2734Z regulator is a monolithic, high-frequency, PWM step-down DC/DC converter assembled in a 6-pin thin SOT23 and LLP package non-pullback. It offers all the positive features, providing local DC/DC fast transient response and precise adjustment conversion with minimal PCB area.
With minimal number of external components, design support via WEBENCH ® online ™ The LM2734Z is easy to use. Capable of propelling state-of-the-art 0.5 micron BiCMOS technology with internal 300mΩnmos switches using the highest power density available in 1A loads. World-class control circuitry allows 13ns to go up to the low, allowing the entire abnormal 3V to 20V input voltage range from 0.8V down to the lowest output voltage high frequency. The switching frequency is internally set to 3MHz, allowing for minimal surface mount inductors and capacitors. Even at very high operating frequencies, efficiencies of up to 85% are easily achievable. External shutdown is included with ultra-low standby 30nA. The LM2734Z uses current mode control with internal compensation to provide high performance regulation over a wide range of operating conditions. Other features include internal soft-start circuitry to reduce inrush current, pulse pass-through current limiting, thermal shutdown, and output overvoltage protection.
