peculiarity
Internal frequency compensation for unity gain
Large DC voltage gain of 100 dB
Wide bandwidth (unity gain) 1 MHz (temperature compensated)
Wide supply range: single 3V to 32V supply or dual supply ± 1.5V to ± 16V
The very low supply current consumption (700μA) is essentially a separate supply voltage
Low input bias current 45 NA (temperature compensated)
The low input offset voltage is 2 mV and the offset current: 5 NA
The input common-mode voltage range includes ground
The differential input voltage range is equal to the supply voltage
The large output voltage swings from 0V to V+ - 1.5V
illustrate
The LM124 series consists of four independent, high gain, internal frequency compensated operational amplifiers designed to operate over a voltage range from a single supply. Operation from splitting the power supply is also possible and low supply current consumption is independent of the magnitude of the supply voltage.
Applications include sensor amplifiers, DC gain blocks, and all conventional op amp circuits that can now be more easily implemented in single-supply systems. For example, the directly operable LM124 series, which is used in digital systems, would be easy to provide the required electronic interface standard +5 V supply voltage without the need for an additional ± 15V power supply.
