AD5592R8-channel, 12-bit, configurable ADC/DAC with on-chip reference and I2C interface
AD5592REight I/O pins that can be individually configured as DAC outputs, ADC inputs, digital outputs, or digital inputs are integrated. When the I/O pins are configured as analog outputs, they are driven by a 12-bit DAC. The DAC output range is 0 V to VREF, or 0 V to 2 x VREF. When the I/O pins are configured as analog inputs, they are connected to a 12-bit ADC through an analog multiplexer. The ADC input range is 0 V to VREF, or 0 V to 2 × VREF. The I/O pins can also be configured as general-purpose digital input or output (GPIO) pins. GPIO registers are accessed through I2C write/read operations, and GPIO pin status can be set or read back.
The AD5593R includes a 2.5 V, 20 ppm/°C reference (off by default) and a temperature indicator that indicates the die temperature. Temperature value readback is part of the ADC read sequence.
The AD5593R is available in 2mm × 2mm WLCSP and 16-lead 3mm × 3mm LFCSP packages and operates over the –40°C to +105°C temperature range.
