A8307 Single Line MultiwaySwitching regulators(SWMR) is a monolithic linear switching regulator designed to provide power to a single-wire multiplexed switch in a satellite TV system over a coaxial cable. The A8307 integrates a boost switch and compensation circuitry, requiring only a few external components.
The integrated boost switch is optimized to minimize switching and static losses. To further improve efficiency and thermal performance, voltage drops in the tracking regulator process have been minimized.
The device provides a comprehensive set of fault registers that meet all common criteria, including overcurrent, thermal shutdown, undervoltage, and poor power supply. In addition, design methods and construction ensure the highest level of stability against transients and component failures. The device uses a 2-wire bidirectional serial interface, with I2C™ standard compatible and operating frequency up to 400 kHz.
A8307Available in a small 4 × 4 mm QFN package with exposed heatsink to assist heat dissipation. The package is lead (Pb) free and features 100% matte tin leadframe plating.
