AD7262BCPZ 1 MSPS, 12-bit, synchronous sampling SAR ADC with built-in programmable gain amplifier (PGA) and 4 comparators
The AD7262/AD7262-5 are 12-bit dual-channel, high-speed, low-power successive approximation ADCs powered from a single 5 V supply. The AD7262 has a throughput rate of up to 1 MSPS per on-chip ADC. The AD7262-5 has a throughput rate of up to 500 kSPS. With two complete ADC functions, two channels can be sampled and converted simultaneously. The programmable gain amplifier (PGA) on the front of each ADC can receive a true differential analog input signal and supports 14 gain settings: ×1, ×2, ×3, ×4, ×6, ×8, ×12, ×16, ×24, ×32, ×48, ×64, ×96, and ×128.
The AD7262/AD7262-5 has 4 built-in comparators. Comparator A and Comparator B are optimized for low power consumption, while Comparator C and Comparator D have fast propagation delays. The AD7262/AD7262-5 provide calibration to eliminate device offset errors and have programmable gain adjustment registers that allow compensation for offsets and gain in input paths such as sensors. The AD7262/AD7262-5 have a built-in 2.5 V on-chip reference that can be disabled when an external reference is required.
The AD7262/AD7262-5 are ideal for monitoring small amplitude signals from a variety of sensors and have all the features needed to monitor position feedback signals from various analog encoders in motor control systems.
