description
With ISL32457E, ISL32450E 3.3V to 5V power supply, fault protection, extended common-mode range differential transceiver, balanced communication. The overvoltage protected RS-485 bus pins (driver output and receiver input) ± 60V for ESD shock ± 15kV. The operating environment of these transceivers is characterized by common-mode voltages up to ±20V (exceeding RS-485 requirements), making this possible
RS-485 Series 1, which is even stronger in the market. The transmitter is RS-485 compliant with V CC≥4.5V and CC=3V receiver (RX) inputs to RS-485 regulations, and even provides a "complete fail-safe" design with a V54Ω load providing a differential output voltage of 1 1.1V, thus guaranteeing a logic high Rx output if the Rx input floats, shorts or terminates, but is not driven (idle) on the bus. The ISL32457E conversion function includes cables, Rx ISL32457E and Tx bus cables with reversing polarity in the case of Rx and Tx bus cables that are reversed when receiving full fail-safe operation, and the conversion function includes cables, in the case of errors during installation.
