ISL95874,ISL95875,ISL95876 ICs are single-phase synchronous step-down PWM regulators with Intersil's proprietary R4 ™ technology. The wide input voltage range of 3.3V to 25V is ideal for battery or AC adapter power supply operating systems. ISL95875 and ISL95876 are low-cost solutions for applications that require dynamically selecting a slew rate-controlled output voltage. Capacitive programming soft start and dynamic set point slew rate. The voltage identification logic input selects four (ISL95875, ISL95876) resistor programming setpoints that directly set the output voltage of the converter between 0.5V and 1.5V and the reference voltage of up to 5V with the feedback divider. Compared to R 3 modulation, R 4 modulation has the same light-load efficiency, faster transient performance, accurate regulation of frequency control and all internal compensation. These updates, combined with integrated MOSFET drivers and Schottky bootstrap diodes, allow a high-performance regulator to be highly compact and require few external components.
