The LM3502 is a driver for white LED lighting applications. For dual display or large single string white LED backlight applications, the LM3502 provides a complete solution. The LM3502 contains two white LEDs of current bypass FET (field effect transitor) switches, ideal for controlling dual display applications. The white LED current is adjustable directly from an RC filter network that requires a microcontroller PWM signal.

With no external compensation, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, overvoltage protection, and undervoltage protection, the LM3502 offers superior performance over other step-up white LED drivers in special application standard products.
