illustrate
The LM3478 is a versatile low-side N-channel MOSFET switching regulator controller. It is suitable for topologies that require low-side MOSFETs such as boost, flyback, SEPIC, etc., in addition, the LM3478 can operate at very high switching frequencies, thereby reducing the overall solution size for use. The LM3478's switching frequency can be adjusted to any value between 100kHz and 1MHz using an external resistor. Current-mode control provides superior bandwidth and transient response, except for cycle-by-cycle current limiting. The output current can be passed through an external resistor.
The LM3478 can bring total supply current to 5μA in power-down modes such as thermal shutdown, short-circuit protection, overvoltage protection, etc., and allows power sequencing. Internal soft-start limits the surge at start-up current.
