illustrate
The LMF100 consists of two independent switched-capacitor filters for high performance. With an external clock and 2 to 4 resistors, various second- and first-order filtering functions enable each filter block. Each block has 3 outputs. One output can be configured to perform either AN all-pass, high-pass, or notch functions. The other two perform band-pass and low-pass output functions. The center frequency of each filter is the adjustment phase using an external clock or a combination of clock and resistivity. Up to the 4th order double quadratic function, it can be realized with a single LMF100. Higher order filters are implemented by simple cascading additional software packages, as well as all classical filters such as Butterworth, Bessel, Ellipse, and Chebyshev.
The LMF100 is a fabrication of National Semiconductor's high-performance analog silicon-gate CMOS process, LMCMOS™. This allows for the production of building blocks in a very low offset, high frequency filter. The LMF100 is pin-compatible with the industry standard MF10 but offers a significant increase in performance.
