LMV981/LMV982 low voltage, low power operational amplifiers. LMV981/LMV982 +1.8 V to +5.0 V supply voltage and rail-to-rail inputs and outputs. The LMV981/LMV982 input common-mode voltage extends beyond the supply voltage range by 200mV, allowing the user to enhance functionality beyond the supply. Output swing rail-to-rail offload and 600Ω load 105mV in 1.8V rail. The LMV981/LMV982 are optimized for operation at 1.8V, making them ideal for portable dual-battery powered systems and single-cell Li-Ion batteries.
The LMV981/LMV982 provide a shutdown pin that can be used to disable the device and reduce the supply current. ^ SHDN pin = Low when the device is off. The output will be shut down with high impedance.
The LMV981/LMV982 have an excellent high-speed power ratio, enabling extremely low supply current at 1.8V supply voltage with a gain bandwidth of 1.4MHz. The LMV981/LMV982 are capable of driving 600Ω loads and capacitive loads up to 1000pF with minimal ringing. The LMV981/LMV982 have a high DC gain of 101 dB, making them suitable for low frequency applications.
The LMV981 is available in a 6-ball saving micro SMD in SC70-6, SOT23-6 package space. 6 solder ball micro SMD package with only 1.006mm x 1.514mm x 0.945mm footprint. The LMV982 is available in an energy-efficient MSOP-10 package. These small package area limited PC boards are ideal solutions for portable electronics such as cellular phones and PDAs.
