illustrate
The performance of the LP3981 is optimized, and the battery-powered system provides ultra-low noise, very low dropout, and low quiescent current. The regulator ground current only slightly increases dropouts, further extending the life of the battery.
Power supply rejection is better than 60 dB at low frequencies. Such high power supply suppression keeps the input voltage dropped to a lower level in the universal battery-powered circuit.
This unit is ideal for use in mobile phones and battery-like wireless applications. It provides up to 300 milliamps from 2.5V to 6V inputs and consumes less than 1μA in off mode.
The LP3981 is available in an MSOP-8 package. For LLP-6 package LP3981, NSC Sales Office contacted. Performance is available over a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. The device is available at the output voltage below; 2.5V, 2.7V, 2.8V, 2.83V, 3.0V, 3.03V and 3.3V as standard. Additional output options can be provided, please contact your local NSC sales office.
