The LTC ® 1435 is a synchronous buck-switching regulator controller that drives an external N-channel power MOSFET using a fixed-frequency architecture. Burst mode ™ operation provides high efficiency at low load currents. A 99% maximum duty cycle limit provides low drop operation and extends the runtime of battery-powered systems.

The operating frequency is optimized by an external capacitor that allows for maximum flexibility and thus optimizes efficiency.
