Optimized for high-volume consumer applications, this solution extends the benefits of a transition model, high, inefficient cost component, potentially higher power ratings than previously available. Utilizing a natural interleaved technique, the dual-channel operation Masters (i.e., no slave channels) are synchronized to the same frequency. This approach provides intrinsic powerhouse, faster response, and ensures that transition patterns in each channel operate.
Full system-level functions, input undervoltage protection, output overvoltage, open-loop, overload, soft-start, phase fault detection, and thermal shutdown. An additional fail-safe overvoltage protection (OVP) feature prevents an intermediate voltage that, if undetected, could lead to catastrophic short-circuit protection failure.
