illustrate
The LM48861 is a single-supply, ground-referenced stereo headphone amplifier. Part of the National Semiconductor PowerWise ® product family, the LM48861 consumes only 3MW of power but still offers great audio performance. Using ground as a reference architecture eliminates the capacitors required for large DC-blocking conventional headphone amplifiers to save board space and reduce costs.
The LM48861 features common-mode sensing to correct any potential difference between the ground and amplifier between the headphone return terminal, minimizing noise caused by any mismatch.
The LM48861 is supplied into one Power requirements allow operation from 1.2V to 2.8V. The high power supply rejection ratio (PSRR), 83 dB at 217Hz, allows the device to operate in noisy environments without additional power regulation. A low-power shutdown mode consumes 0.01μA of supply current.
Superior click and pop suppression eliminates power-up/down and off when sound transients. The LM48861 is obtained in an ultra-small 12 solder ball, 0.4mm pitch, miniature SMD package (1.215mm x 1.615mm).
