The ADCLK944 is an ultrafast clock fan-out
bumperManufactured using Analog Devices' proprietary XFCB3 silicon germanium (SiGe) bipolar process. This device is designed for high-speed applications requiring low jitter performance.
The device features a differential input with a center tap, differential, 100 Ω on-chip termination resistors, and supports dc-coupled LVPECL, CML, 3.3 V CMOS (single-ended) inputs, and AC-coupled 1.8 V CMOS, LVDS, LVPECL inputs. VREF Pins can be used to bias the AC-coupled input.
ADCLK944Emitter-coupled logic (ECL) output driver with four full swings. For LVPECL (positive ECL) output, replace VCC Biased to positive supply, VEE Offset to ground. For ECL output, change VCC Offset to ground, VEE Bias to the negative supply.
The ECL output stage is designed to drive 800 mV at each end directly to terminate to VCC − 50 Ω resistor of 2 V, resulting in a total differential output swing of 1.6 V.
The ADCLK944 is available in a 16-lead LFCSP package and is specified over the standard industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C.
