description
LTC®The 1470 switches a PC Memory Card International Association (PCMCIA) card between three operating statestroughV CC pins: off, 3.3V and 5V. Two low RDS(ON)N-channel power MOSFETs drive a voltage higher than the supply voltage generated by a built-in charge pump, maximizing the input control logic for each switch when selected.
The LTC1470's inputs are compatible with industry-standard PCMCIA controllers. A built-in exomorph ensures that both switches are never at the same time. This feature also makes the LTC1470 compatible with active-low and active-low controllers (see Application Information section). Controls the rise time of the switch to eliminate power supply glitches.
The LTC1470 features built-in SafeSlot-current ™ limit and thermal shutdown. Output 1A current, short circuit is limited to ground, but 2A peak operating current is allowed.
The LTC1471 is a dual version of the LTC1470 and 16-lead SO package.
