The UCC2808A is a family of BiCMOS push-pull, high-speed, low-power, pulse-width modulators. All of the control and drive circuitry required for the UCC2808A are included for off-line or switching power supplies in DC-to-DC fixed frequency current mode with minimal external component count.

The UCC2808A dual output drive stage is arranged in a push-pull configuration. Half of the oscillators of the two output switches use the frequency of a switching trigger. The dead time between the two outputs is typically 60 nanoseconds to 200 nanoseconds, depending on the values of the capacitance and resistance, limiting the duty cycle of each output stage to less than 50%.

The UCC2808A series offers package options and undervoltage lockout levels.
