The HMC678LC3C is one2:1 selector, supports data transfer rates up to 13 Gbps, and selecter ports operate at frequencies up to 13 GHz. The selector routes one of the two single-ended inputs to the differential output when the port is properly selected. All single-ended signals entering the HMC678LC3C are terminated to on-chip ground at 50 Ω and support either AC or DC coupling.
The HMC678LC3C output supports differential or single-ended operation. The output can be directly connected to a 50 Ω terminated system, while DC blocking capacitors can be used if 50 Ω terminated to a non-grounded DC voltage. The HMC678LC3C operates from a single -3.3V DC supply and is available in a RoHS-compatible 3x3 mm SMT ceramic package.
