The LP3990 regulator is designed to meet the requirements of portable, battery-powered, low-noise, low-quiescent current systems. The LP3990 will deliver up to 150mA of load current from a low input voltage of 2V to a 0.8V output. When switching the logic signal through the enable pin when entering shutdown mode, the power dissipation is reduced to almost zero.
The LP3990 is designed to be space-stable with small ceramic capacitors up to 1.0μF.
Performance is specified as a junction temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
