description
Combined with the LT1055/LT1056 JFET input op-amp, it has precision specifications for high-speed performance.
For the first time, a 16V/μs slew rate and a gain bandwidth product of 6.5MHz simultaneously achieve a typical offset voltage of 50μV, a drift of 1.2μV/°C, and a bias current of 40pA at 70°C and 500pA at 125°C.
The maximum offset voltage specification of 150μV is the best of any JFET input op amp.
LT1055 and LT1056 have different operating currents. The LT1055 has low power consumption, enabling low bias and offset current and voltage offset. The LT1056 allows for higher slew rates, bandwidth, and faster settling times with additional power consumption at the slight sacrifice of DC performance.
The voltage-to-frequency converter shown in the figure below is one of the LT1055/LT1056 that takes advantage of the accuracy and high speed of many applications.
For JFET input op amps, 23V/μs slew rate is guaranteed, referring to the LT1022 data sheet.
