description
The LT1055/LT1056 JFET input op amps combine with precision specifications for high speed performance.
For the first time, a slew rate of 16V/μs and a gain-bandwidth product of 6.5MHz simultaneously achieve a typical drift of 50μV for offset voltages of 50μV and 1.2μV/°C with a bias current of 40 pA at 70°C and 500 pA at 125°C.
The maximum offset voltage specification of 150μV is the best of any JFET input op amp.
The LT1055 and LT1056 operate differently. The LT1055 is low power, achieving low bias and offset current and voltage offset. The LT1056 allows for higher slew rates, bandwidth and faster settling times with additional power dissipation at the slight sacrifice of dc performance.
The voltage-to-frequency converter shown in the figure below is one of the LT1055/LT1056 that utilizes the accuracy and high speed of many applications.
For the JFET input op amp, the guaranteed slew rate of 23V/μs refers to the LT1022 datasheet.
