The TLV61224 provides a power solution for products powered by one single cell or two alkaline or nickel-metal hydride batteries, or single lithium primary batteries. The possible output currents depend on the ratio of input to output voltage. The boost converter is based on a hysteresis controller using synchronous rectification to obtain the lowest quiescent current efficiency topology. The device's output voltage is set to an internally fixed output voltage of 3.0 V, and the converter is switchable and turned off by a characteristic enable pin. And turned off, battery consumption is minimized. The device measures 2 mm × 2 mm in a 6-pin SC-70 package (DCK), enabling the size of a small circuit layout.
