illustrate
The MF10 consists of 2 separate and very easy to use, general purpose CMOS active filter building blocks. Each block, coupled with an external clock and 3 to 4 resistors, can produce a variety of second-order functions. Each building block has 3 output pins. An output can be configured to perform an all-pass, high-pass or notch function; The remaining 2 output pins perform low-pass and band-pass functions. The low-pass and band-pass second-order functions of the center frequency can be directly dependent on the clock frequency, or they can depend on the clock frequency and external resistivity. The notch and all-pass functions of the center frequency are directly dependent on the clock frequency, while the center frequency of the high pass depends on the two resistance ratios and the clock. The functions of the Fourth Order can be cascaded by two second-order MF10 blocks; Functions above the fourth order can be obtained through the cascading MF10 package. Any classical filter configuration can be formed (e.g. Butterworth, Bessel, Kaul and Chebyshev).
