The DS15BR400/DS15BR401 the ability of data rates of up to 2 Gbps for four-channel LVDS buffers/repeaters. High-speed data channels and traffic simplify board layout by reducing jitter of devices inside pins, while preemptively overcoming the effects of backplane and cable jitter from detrimental ISA jitter. Differential input interfaces, LVDS and bus LVDS signals, such as those of 10-, 16- and 18-bit bus LVDS SerDes and CML and LVPECL. The DS15BR400 termination of the differential inputs and outputs has an internal 100Ω resistor to improve performance and reduce board space. The DS15BR401 has no input termination resistors. Repeater function, especially useful for transmitting signals over distances that damage longer cables and baseplates.

The DS15BR400/DS15BR401 of power is from a single 3.3V supply and consumes 578 mW (typical). They operate in the -40°C to +85°C industrial temperature range and are available in space-saving LLC-32 and TQFP-48 packages.
