    LT®The 1761 Series are micropower, low noise, low dropout regulators. With an external 0.01μF bypass capacitor, the output noise is reduced to 20μVRMS(within a bandwidth of 10Hz to 100kHz). The series is designed for use in battery-powered systems, and the low quiescent current of 20μA makes it an ideal choice. In shutdown, quiescent current is reduced to

    The LT1761 regulator is regulated with output capacitors as low as 1μF. Small ceramic capacitors can be used instead of series resistors that are required as in other regulators.

    Internal protection circuitry includes reverse battery protection, current limit, thermal limit, and reverse current protection. These devices are available in fixed output voltages of 1.2V, 1.5V, 1.8V, 2V, 2.5V, 2.8V, 3V, 3.3V, and 5V and can be used as an adjustable device with a 1.22V reference. The LT1761 regulator is available in a 5-lead TSOT-23 package.
