The LTM®4606 is a fully EN55022 Class B certified noise-free, high-voltage, 6A switch-mode DC/DC power supply. The package includes a switching controller, power FETs, inductors, and all supporting components. The onboard input filter and noise cancellation circuitry enable low-noise operation, effectively reducing electromagnetic interference (EMI). The LTM4606 operates from 4.5V to 28V and supports an output voltage range of 0.6V to 5V (set by a single resistor). This high-efficiency design provides 6A of continuous current (peak at 8A). All the design is possible with a large capacity input and output capacitor. The use of a high switching frequency and adaptive on-time current-mode architecture enables fast transient response to input voltage and load changes without sacrificing stability. The device supports output voltage tracking and output voltage margin adjustment. In addition, the μModule® can be synchronized with an external clock to reduce unwanted frequency harmonics and enable polyphase® operation to provide high load currents. LTM4606 is housed in a space-saving, heat-enhanced 15mm x 15mm x 2.8mm LGA package that allows for high-density point-of-load adjustment by utilizing unused space on the bottom of the PC board. LTM4606 are lead-free devices and are RoHS compliant.
