The DS50EV401 is a low-power, programmable equalizer designed to reduce inter-symbol interference (ISI) by various media. In all modes, the EQ can be operated, with an input eye that is completely closed and error-free by the Interconnected ISA. Mode control, allowing users to choose between equalization settings for 8.0 Gbps operation or 2.5 Gbps / 5.0 Gbps operation.

The DS50EV401 uses current-mode logic input and output ports that provide a constant 50 ohm single-ended AC ground impedance (CML). Differential signaling is induced jitter by reducing the supply of the entire signal path. The DS50EV401 is available in a 7mm x 7mm, 48-pin leadless LLP package and is powered from a single or 3.3 or 2.5V supply
